Tree Limb Removal, done with precision

A single heavy limb can be a bigger risk than a whole tree. Limb removal covers the broken, cracked, dead or hanging branches left by spring storms, ice or high winds, and large branches over roofs, fences and driveways. We assess how the limb is loaded, where it will fall, and cut it in stages or lower it with rope where it could damage something. We clean the cut so the tree can seal over it and haul away the wood. Hanging limbs stuck in a canopy, often called widowmakers, can be dangerous, and we approach them carefully. Limbs touching or near power lines are not something we handle, and we advise calling the utility. Removing a limb does not fix the underlying health of the tree, and we point out any other concerns.

Common questions about tree limb removal

Can you remove a limb that is over my roof?

Usually yes. We lower it in sections or with rope to avoid damaging shingles and gutters.

What about limbs touching power lines?

We do not work on those. Contact the utility, and we can handle the rest after they clear it.

Are you arborists?

No. We are a landscape and exterior contractor who does tree trimming, removal and cleanup. For disease diagnosis or very large or hazardous trees, we may refer you to a specialist.

Do you work near power lines?

We assess the situation, but work near energized lines is generally handled by the utility or a qualified specialist. We will tell you if that applies.
