Bush Removal in North Texas
Sometimes a shrub should simply go: overgrown, diseased, dead, blocking windows or hiding a foundation.
Bush Removal, done with precision
Sometimes a shrub should simply go: overgrown, diseased, dead, blocking windows or hiding a foundation. We cut the plant down, dig out the root ball as far as practical, haul it away and level the area. Larger or older bushes have deep roots that need more digging, and in shallow limestone or hard clay this is slower work. We fill the hole with soil, and can follow up with mulch, rock or a replacement plant. When roots are too large to dig out reasonably, grinding them below grade is an option. Removal should not cause damage to nearby sprinkler lines or utilities, so we locate what we can before digging and take care around irrigation. We also pull out unwanted woody growth such as volunteer saplings and overgrown privet.

Common questions about bush removal
Will you take out the roots?
Yes, as far as practical. For big roots we may grind them below grade instead.
Can you replace the bush right away?
Yes. We can plant a more suitable shrub in the same visit or later.
Are you arborists?
No. We are a landscape and exterior contractor who does tree trimming, removal and cleanup. For disease diagnosis or very large or hazardous trees, we may refer you to a specialist.
Do you work near power lines?
We assess the situation, but work near energized lines is generally handled by the utility or a qualified specialist. We will tell you if that applies.
