Screen Cleaning, done with precision
Window screens trap pollen, dust and cottonwood fluff, and they cut the amount of light and fresh air reaching a room. In this service, we remove screens carefully, wash them with a soft brush and mild cleaning solution, rinse them, let them dry and reinstall them. Washing is done on a padded surface so the mesh is not stretched or torn. Clean screens also make the glass behind them look cleaner. This is cleaning only: torn, sun-rotted or bent screens cannot be restored by washing, and we will set those aside for replacement. Some older or fragile screens cannot be safely removed, and we will tell you before we try.

Common questions about screen cleaning
Will you tell me if a screen is damaged?
Yes. Any torn or worn screens are set aside so you can decide on repair or replacement.
Do screens need cleaning as often as glass?
Usually once or twice a year is enough, and sooner if you leave windows open during pollen or dust season.
How often should windows be cleaned in North Texas?
Most homes do well with a cleaning once or twice a year, more often if sprinklers hit the glass or you live near a dusty road or construction. Storefronts usually benefit from a regular schedule so customers always see clean glass.
Do you clean inside and outside?
Yes. We can do exterior only, or interior and exterior together. Interior work is done with drop cloths and care around furniture, window coverings and sills.
